Event description
deep rest • reconnection • resonance
Luna Qigong & Gong is an evening of gentle movement, renewal, meditation and immersive sound, inspired by the phases of the Moon.
Each session includes:
• Gentle guided Qigong, tapping, grounding and breath practices
• Deeply restorative gong and immersive sound
• Herbal tea, landing and integration time
What to expect:
Hosted by multidisciplinary practitioner Shaney Barton, this is an invitation to step out of the pace of everyday life and into a deeper rhythm and alignment with yourself.
Through gentle Qigong, breathwork and grounding practices, we begin attuning and settling the body, cultivating life force energy.
From there, you’ll be guided into an extended gong and immersive sound journey with the 42-inch Universe Gong and other carefully selected instruments. Layers of vibration and harmonic resonance invite deep relaxation, expanded awareness and a sense of spacious stillness that many find both transporting and deeply restorative.
Aligned with the changing lunar cycle, each session offers an opportunity to pause, attune to the current phase of the Moon, listen inwardly and soften what feels stuck.
The evening closes with herbal tea and time for quiet reflection and integration, allowing you to gently return, restored and nourished.
Whether you’re new to Qigong or have an established practice, the movement is simple, gentle and easy to follow, and may be practised seated or standing.
Dress comfortably and bring along anything with you to feel cosy and warm during the sound immersion, such as a yoga mat, blanket, cushion and eye mask.
